Internal publishing tool
Publishing approved EDUCK learning clips.
EDUCK Highlight Uploader is a local command-line client used by one authorized EDUCK operator to publish EDUCK-owned educational videos to the EDUCK channel.
How it works
- The operator prepares an approved MP4 file, title and description locally.
- The client displays the full batch and requires an explicit confirmation.
- The operator signs in with Google OAuth and the client uploads through the YouTube Data API Services.
- The returned video URL and publication date are saved in the local metadata file.
Limited access and purpose
The client is not offered to the public, has no public user accounts and is not sold. It does not show advertising. It uploads only materials owned or authorized by EDUCK. The tool has no application server or database and does not access third-party channels.
API functionality
The client requests only the youtube.upload OAuth scope and uses only the youtube.videos.insert endpoint. It does not read analytics, comments, subscriptions, playlists or unrelated account data.
